Menopause Docs

Why are you starting a new business. Aren’t you busy enough

The answer is complicated, and yes I am busy. However, with my three children launched to college, I wanted to stretch myself in a new direction. I felt a calling in this new phase of my life. I have loved working with my menopausal patients in my daily urogynecology practice, but never felt I had enough time to give them during a traditional office visit. I really wanted to create a calm space for these patients and give them all the time they needed to address all of their concerns about their menopause. Most of my patients are busy working women with demanding jobs and multi-generational family members to care for. They needed creative care, outside their busy work day, and I know it’s hard to take time out for one’s self with these demands. Starting a menopausal management business was a deeply personal journey for me. As I navigated the complexities of menopause myself, I realized how little support and information was available for women experiencing this significant life transition. The symptoms can be overwhelming, and the stigma surrounding menopause often leaves women feeling isolated and misunderstood. I wanted to create a space where women could find reliable information, professional support, and effective management strategies. My goal is to empower women to embrace this phase of life with confidence and knowledge. By providing tailored resources and professional guidance, I hope to alleviate the burdens of menopause and help women thrive during this time. This business is not just about symptom management; it’s about giving a woman time and space to express her concerns and offer real solutions. I believe that when we give women the consideration of time, support, and real solutions, we can transform the narrative around menopause into one of empowerment and growth.
